Hi! My name is Oksana Tabunshchykova.
I am an interior designer based in San Francisco, specializing in residential and boutique commercial interiors. My work emphasizes spatial clarity, natural materials, and thoughtful, well-resolved implementation.
I collaborate closely with clients and project teams to translate ideas into clear, functional spatial solutions. My scope typically includes space planning, material and fixture selection, lighting strategy, 3D visualization, and technical drawings for non-structural interior projects. When appropriate, I integrate ADA-informed design considerations and support permit documentation and coordination as part of the implementation process.
My background in art continues to influence how I approach interiors today. I see design as a process of composition — balancing light, texture, and proportion to create spaces that feel natural, cohesive, and supportive of everyday living.
Based in San Francisco Bay Area, I work alongside contractors, consultants, and architects as part of larger project teams when needed, contributing from early concept development through construction coordination.

1. Introductory Consultation
We begin with a complimentary 30-minute conversation to discuss your project goals, scope, timeline, and the most appropriate level of design support.
2. Concept & Space Planning
Initial layout strategies and design direction are developed to improve spatial flow, functionality, and overall atmosphere.
3. Materials & Fixtures Selection
Carefully coordinated selections of finishes, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and surfaces establish the visual identity of the project.
4. Drawings & Visualizations
Dimensioned layouts, elevations, and 3D visualizations support decision-making and contractor pricing.
5. Permit Documentation Support
When applicable, I assist with preparation and coordination of drawings for permit submission and review.
6. Construction Phase Coordination
During implementation, I collaborate with contractors and project team members to help ensure the design intent is carried through.
